Around the sanctuary this month we have mirrors and a mirrored cross. Why? As we come before the cross and see a reflection of ourselves in the cross, we are invited to ponder Jesus in our lives. On March 15 we had an opportunity to wipe mud on the cross representing our sins. On Easter sunday we get to wash the mud away representing Jesus' work on the cross and the forgiveness of our sins.
